Hallo! Je m'appelle Julia, mais mes amis m'appellent Jules.
Basée à Montréal et dans les Laurentides, je photographie depuis des années toutes sortes d'histoires d'amour. J'ai commencé avec un appareil photo soviétique analogue 35 mm auquel je me suis accrochée jusqu'à ce qu'il lâche finalement sur un versant brumeux en Italie, malgré les couches de ruban adhésif, de colle et une épingle à cheveux pour rembobiner le film. Aujourd'hui, je photographie avec un Sony, mais cette approche improvisée et intentionnelle continue de façonner tout ce que je fais.
Je suis une amoureuse de la nature et des chiens (j'en ai deux ! et un chat qui se prend pour un chien), une sculptrice, une grande liseuse, et une photographe qui croit que chaque geste est significatif, et je suis là pour capturer les moments authentiques qui vous montrent comme vous êtes, unique...
Que ce soit en cuisinant avec vos enfants ou en escaladant votre sommet préféré pour attraper le coucher de soleil, je vous guiderai doucement, mais surtout, je serai là pour capturer les événements épiques et la magie qui se cache dans les petits moments quotidiens. Je veillerai à ce que vous vous sentiez à l'aise, connecté et pleinement présent. Pas de poses rigides, pas de sourires forcés, juste la vie vraie, capturée de manière authentique.
Hi! I’m Julia, but my friends call me Jules.
Based in Montreal and the Laurentians, I’ve been photographing all kinds of love stories for years, starting out with soviet analogue 35mm camera I clung to until it finally gave out on a foggy Italian hillside—despite layers of tape, glue, and a bobby pin to wind the film. These days I shoot with Sony gear, but that scrappy, intentional approach still shapes everything I do.

Julia is a wonderful photographer and so patient with children. My daughter (who is 3) took to her immediately and the shots Julia got during our mini session are going to be cherished by us and our families for years to come. Our goal for the session was to get a family shot for the Christmas cards and the only complaint I have is that we're not going to be able to choose! Julia is now out official family photographer.
