We spent a cool, windy sunset at the beach. Alice sharing in her mother's love for water, refusing any direction that meant she couldn't feel the water lapping at her little toes. 

Erin has since created her own photography project 'Mama Melk Stories' dedicated to the mamas who breastfeed their toddlers, redefining the contemporary, and restrictive narrative of western style motherhood, by embracing a practice common in the rest of the world, one portrait at a time.
